For over 72 years, Miller Construction Company, Inc. has constructed and maintained Transmission and Distribution lines for investor owned utilities, Rural Electric Co-operatives, municipalities, and many commercial customers.

Headquartered in Vincennes, Indiana, with an office in Troy, Illinois (just east of St. Louis), the current customer list includes Ameren, Duke Energy, WIN Energy, and Vectren.

Miller Construction Company, Inc. is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association with memberships in both the American Line Builders and Missouri Valley Line Constructors Chapters, and is signatory to a number of IBEW contracts.

The company has qualified for over twenty years as a Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and recently received WBENC certification.

Chris Ernst Christina Ernst

Christina Ernst is a CEO in a decidedly non-traditional field for a woman. She and her brother, Bill Miller, are the third generation to run the family business. She learned the business from the ground up following the unexpected deaths of her brother in 1975 and her father in 1976. As the recipient of the Indiana Torchbearer Award in 2008 and the inaugural Women in Business award from the Vincennes/Knox County Chamber of Commerce in 2010, she is committed to guiding young women into the world of business. Through her leadership, more women can be found entering into non-traditional fields. Her contributions don’t stop with just the company though. She has been appointed to many civic, charitable, and corporate boards. She also has a special passion to educate women about breast cancer awareness.
